Welcome to Louisiana Specialty Hospital! We are a 44 bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital conveniently located on the 7th floor of West Jefferson Hospital, right next to the West Bank Expressway in Marrero. We specialize in the care of patients whose medical conditions require a prolonged hospital stay, usually 2 or more weeks. We have over 180 physicians on staff which allows us to care for nearly every medical condition including ICU level patients; and there is always a physician in-house to respond to any emergency situation.
