Based in Houston, Texas, with locations across the country, Triumph HealthCare’s hospitals specialize in providing services to medically complex patients for whom the short term acute care hospital is no longer the most appropriate or cost-effective setting.
Our hospitals fill an important role in the continuum of patient care and address the needs of a small, but growing, patient population who can not be effectively treated in the conventional healthcare setting. Prominent among this population are frail elderly persons suffering from pre-existing medical conditions that complicate their course of treatment, and technology-dependent individuals requiring levels of on-going nursing care that exceed the capabilities of nursing homes.
At Triumph, our focus is to treat these critically ill patients in an intensive way, utilizing specialized treatment programs geared to each patient's illness and requirements. The goal is medical recovery and return to the least restrictive environment possible versus stabilization.
A Triumph hospital differs from rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, or sub-acute programs in that the patients are much more acutely ill and require more specialized programs, daily physician monitoring and intensive nursing intervention than available at a lower level of care.
Our hospitals are licensed by the state in which they are located and Medicare certified. Most locations are accredited by the Joint Commission.
